Root Canal Cost
Regeneration in dentistry is a new technique that repairs infected teeth with stem cells. It’s a new, less expensive technology called, “SealBio” developed by doctors at the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics. Doctors; Naseem Shah and Ajay Logani have obtained an Australian patent and are currently under application process in the United States.
The SealBio technique places stem cells int he root of the decayed tooth to stimulate regeneration and deposit of a natural tissue barrier to fill the canal. This biological seal is used instead of traditional filling materials with drawbacks.
The tooth gradually fills with tissue over time in a few weeks to several months from the stem cells.
The process is easier than a root canal and requires less equipment.
The procedure has been successful on dozens of people, and the 4-5 year follow has been very encouraging. This may be a game changer.
